A New Year, and an update to go with it.
Ok, I’m going to try to get back into the habit of blogging regularly, hopefully almost daily!
Life has been crazy since Christmas, it seems like either we’ve been gone or someone’s been here non stop. In fact, we just got home from an unplanned trip to Maine. It was great to get to see my family. My nieces and nephews are growing faster than I can keep up. My oldest nephew is 15 already!
While we were up there it snowed 13″ in one day! Lexi got to go out and play in it, it was funny though by the time we got her all bundled up she was bored. We had to keep telling her it would be worth it, despite her temper tantrum.
The 17 1/2 hour drive wasn’t that bad, we had a portable DVD player which helped keep Lexi entertained, and Caylee is at the age that she just slept most of the time. The trip was good for her, it caused her to finally go 3-4 hours between eating instead of the 2 hour schedule she had been on since she was born.
Even when we are home it’s hard for me to blog because I get on average 20 minutes of time when Caylee is happy being in something other than my arms.
The other thing that has been happening here is I’ve been running and trying to get inshape. well, in a shape other than the post pregnancy round shape. I’ve been focusing on eating more well balanced meals and snacks through the day (with smaller portions), as well as running and doing work out videos. My current favorite fat buster is working out with Jillian Micheals. 
I love the biggest loser and anyone who can take a 400lb person and get them down to a normal size I deem qualified to kick my butt into shape. The reason I’ve been running is because my sister and I are going to be running an 8K in march. (That’s almost 5 miles).
Caylee is almost 5 months old. I can’t believe 5 months has gone by so fast! Even more amazing is that Tomorrow is my nephews first birthday. (In fact I should be working on making his birthday cake right now….) The past year has FLOWN by, seems like the older I get the faster years go by.
So you want some pictures don’t you? Well, you’ll have to wait. Because it takes me 10 years to upload pictures with this version of wordpress. And my husband hasn’t updated my version.

Actually he is 14, but looking at him you would think he was alot older than that.
