My Clean Shower Curtain
Last week for the backwards WFMW post I was going to ask people how they clean their plastic shower curtains.
Then I was staring at my shower curtain and thought “hmm that’s just soap build up. Vinegar is supposed to get rid of buildup. It’s worth a shot”
So I threw it in the washer with a little bit of soap and some vinegar. The worst that could happen is it doesn’t come clean right?
When I pulled it out of the washer it looked brand new!!!
I will never scrub a shower curtain with cleaners and a scrub brush again! Vinegar and a washing machine works for me!

That is great to know. I just took mine down yesterday and washed it twice with bleach, it did OK but next time I will be pulling out the vinegar!

I am SO doing this next time.
And by “next time,” hopefully I mean “sometime soon,” cuz, uh, yeah.

Great idea! You could probably put this solution in a spray bottle and make your own “shower curtain cleaner” too!!

This is a great idea! I’ve tried cleaning it in the washer before, but it hasn’t been working lately. I’ll have to try the vinegar!

That’s how I do it too.
A few extra towels help it rotate well.

Vinegar is pretty amazing! There’s not much that it can’t do, it seems.
